Habeas Corpus? Means What?

Insight from a translator and Spiritual Intuitive

What does 'Habeas Corpus' mean...and how does it relate to 'due process'? (from my view as a translator of Latin to English and a Spiritual Intuitive)

"Innocent until proven Guilty' becomes "Guilty until pardoned by payment or favor' when Habeas Corpus is suspended.

In common English, I would translate Habeas Corpus as
"DO YOU HAVE THE BODY of proof? "

Notice the question mark I added to the phrase.

HABEAS is the verb 'to have'. The ending makes it mean 'you have'.

CORPUS is exactly what you think - its like 'corpse', and means 'body'.

As a statement Habeas Corpus means 'you have a body'.

In common English, I would translate it as
"DO YOU HAVE A BODY (of proof?) "

As you can see, omitting the question mark in the phrase removes its easy translation and understanding. But it you were to see it written as:

Habeas Corpus?

It's much easier to understand this is a question, requiring that the body, or proof, be shown.

I hope this helps everyone understand that removing Habeas Corpus is removing the need to show proof of someone's guilt.

Without the need to show proof, there is no way to show innocence. Innocence is determined by rebutting the Habeas Corpus, or body of facts used to create the charges against you. With no proof or facts that you did something, there i nothing to refute. So therefore your innocence can not be proven, but your guilt can be declared.

I can tell that no Drumpf appointed official studied Latin or has the common sense to apply their Spanish language skills to Latin. Or more likely, the Republican and administrative officials are scared spine-less.
